Space to understand yourself.
Support to move forward.
Individual counseling for people age 16 and older who want to explore what is weighing on them and work toward greater wholeness.

When life feels heavy
Do you find yourself constantly anxious, exhausted, or weighed down by a persistent sense of self-loathing that dictates how you view yourself and how you allow others to treat you? Perhaps you are navigating the heavy fog of depression, feeling entirely disconnected from your own mind, body, and emotions. Perhaps you are completely exhausted by the modern dating scene, feeling stuck in a painful cycle of choosing emotionally unavailable partners or losing yourself just to keep someone else happy.
What we can work on
Relationship Issues
Human beings are made to flourish in community. Many times our sufferings weigh us down and can negatively impact our relationships. In individual counseling, we will explore the various parts of ourselves and how they impact our relationships. We will learn ways of improving communication across our various relationships.
Anxiety, Depression, Loneliness & Boredom
We experience sorrow, low energy, nervousness, fear of the future, and loneliness at different points in our lives. We do not need to fight this alone. In counseling, we will learn healthy coping skills to overcome these struggles. We will utilize the best evidence based approaches and modalities to integrate a more secure attachment within ourselves and to explore the parts of us that are afraid, lonely, and depressed.
Trauma
The human person was made in goodness and love. As a result of our fallen state, suffering and death have entered the world. Sadly, trauma has become a part of our earthly existence. We will explore how past wounds are impacting daily functioning. We will learn to look at ourselves through the lens of what the needs of the inner child are and will replace core wounds with core strengths.
Singleness
We are made for communion. Singleness can be a struggle for many young people as they long to enter into the vocation of marriage. We will explore in counseling how to live in the present moment and grow into your best self as you prepare to enter into the vocation of matrimony.
Discernment
Discernment is more than just making a decision—it is a spiritual and psychological alignment. Our approach integrates sound clinical therapy with traditional Catholic discernment principles. We help you process emotional roadblocks, heal past wounds, and quiet the mind so you can clearly hear where God is leading you. Whether you are navigating career changes, vocational questions, or relational healing, we walk with you as you seek His path. I work with those who are discerning marriage, religious life, and priesthood to explore where God is inviting them to find vocational fulfillment and flourishing.
Sexual Addictions
It can be easy to be plagued by shame and guilt and to look at yourself in disgust. You might wonder, how did you get here and how do you get out of this. Know that you are loved and that you were made for more. We will utilize evidence-based counseling modalities to address the deeper core issues that lead you to engage in unwanted sexual addictions. We will explore trauma, anxiety, and depression and will build a secure attachment with ourselves and come to a healthy love of ourselves, knowing that we are created in the Image of God.
Low Self Esteem
Do you constantly battle a harsh inner critic, feel undeserving of love, or struggle to see your own value? Low self-esteem can distort how you view yourself, your relationships, and your relationship with God. It often leaves you feeling stuck in cycles of perfectionism, people-pleasing, or self-doubt. Our approach blends evidence-based psychological therapeutic practices with the profound truth of your inherent dignity as a child of God.
Spiritual Abuse
Did your experience of faith leave you feeling trapped by guilt, anxiety, or fear? Spiritual abuse exploits trust and obscures the true nature of God. I specialize in helping Catholics and other Christians, alongside those who no longer practice their faith, heal from spiritual manipulation, institutional trauma, and spiritual bypassing. In our work, we prioritize your autonomy, regulate your nervous system, and dismantle internalized shame. Healing is possible, and your boundaries are sacred.

How I approach individual care
I draw on attachment-informed work, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and other approaches according to your needs. Together, we’ll explore patterns, strengthen coping skills, and work toward a more secure relationship with yourself and others.
Individual counseling provides a compassionate and empathetic space for deepening self-knowledge and love, healing, growth in the human virtues, and an increase in human flourishing all rooted in the belief that we are the Imago Dei (image of God) and that the glory of God is man fully alive! From a Catholic Christian perspective, counseling emphasizes the integration of faith and mental health, addressing both spiritual and emotional well-being. Care is tailored to the needs of the client using the best evidence-based therapeutic approach to bring about lasting change.
